Organised plan to bury land grab charges by Rohini Sindhuri: MLC AH Vishwanath

Prime News, Karnataka, Land, Politics, Mysuru, June 11:- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLC A H Vishwanath on Friday (June 11) alleged that there seems to be some kind of understanding between the Mysuru Regional Commissioner Dr G C Prakash and all those accused in land encroachment. “There is a systematic plan to close the entire case. I have been insisting that the former Deputy Commissioner of Mysuru district, Rohini Sindhuri’s complaint be considered seriously.”  He said the report by the Regional Commissioner seems to be ready and it is likely to be released on Monday (June 14).

Vishwanath said there is no mention of “Raja Kaluve” in the said report and it has not mentioned anything about the land that has been encroached. The land mafia is controlled by the politicians. Given this scenario, the Regional Commissioner’s report may not carry any weight. The report is ready and he has gone for a survey today (June 11). I knew that Sindhuri would be made a ‘scapegoat.’ What I had predicted a month back has come true. The purported report by the Regional Commissioner, which is supposed to be presented on Monday, can’t be trusted.”

The MLC said, “The charges made by Sindhuri should be investigated thoroughly. It is not just one case. There are so many cases in Mysuru which need to be probed. The District In-charge Minister S T Somashekar and Revenue Minister R Ashoka should talk now.”

Vishwanath said, “No one is ready to talk if the Sa Ra Convention Hall is built on Raja Kaluve. They are trying to probe what has not been mentioned in Sindhuri’s report. I am not against anyone and if there is an allegation, he or she should come out clean. (MR/GK)
