Orientation programme for PU freshers’ held at Vidhyaashram in city

Mysuru, June 15:- An orientation programme was organised for the newly enrolled first year Pre-University (PU) students at Vidhyaashram premises at Jayalakshmipuram in city on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, K Rakesh Raje Urs, chairman and founder of Vidhyaashram, called upon the students to give importance to academics. He stressed that the temple of excellence should be incorporated at the place of study and apart from being a temple of learning.

The students must build up their personality and think that he or she is the hero in his/her life and take a pledge on mantras that change their lives: “I can, I will.”Rakesh Raje Urs

The Vidhyaashram chairman went further by giving few tips to student on how to excel in their life and urged them to aim high for the future, acquire knowledge, be proactive and be a face of Vidhyaashram. “Examinations are like battles for one’s career, but we need to win the battle of life with our creative ideas,” Urs said.

Speaking on the occasion, Vidhyaashram principal Khushi A M quoted Mahatma Gandhi’s words “Real education is to be drawn from young boys and girls who are the future of the nation.”

One needs to study in a stress-free and caring environment, she said and assured that the college will provide wings to their dreams and uphold the cultural ethos.

The principal urged the students to stay focused on studies to excel in their future and avoid getting distracted by other things.
