Oscar’s best actor, actress nominees to get $2,000 bottles of champagne

Entertainment News, International, (Washington DC), February 12:-It turns out that the French champagne house Piper-Heidsieck is giving Oscar nominated actors and actresses USD 2,000 worth bottles of champagne.

As part of the deal for the 91st Oscars ceremony to be held on February 24, all best actor and best actress nominees have been gifted a bottle of Rare Le Secret, revealed The Hollywood Reporter.

Furthermore, during the ceremony, 1,500 bottles (or 8,500 glasses) will be served including Cuve Brut Limited Edition Magnums, Rare 2002, and Rare 1998 Magnums.

The limited-edition magnum is being custom made for the Oscars and features the brand’s signature cuve brut.

The champagne will be poured exclusively at the awards ceremony inside the Dolby Theatre and at the Governors Ball, the Academys official Oscars after-party in the adjacent Dolby Ballroom.

In addition, Piper-Heidsieck champagne will be poured at Academy events in Los Angeles, New York and London.
