Prime News, Karnataka, Health, Disease, Medical Oxygen, Chamarajanagar, May 3:- At least 24 coronavirus patients being treated at the Chamarajanagar Government District Hospital lost their lives on a single day due to an alleged shortage of Oxygen. On Sunday night (May 2), sixteen patients died while eight more breathed their last in the wee hours of Monday (May 3).
As soon as the people came to know of the shocking development, the relatives of the deceased rushed to the Government District Hospital and staged a protest for not saving the patients’ lives.

Right now we are requiring 350 cylinders a day, an increase from 35-40 cylinders daily, and our vendors are not able to match the increase in demand. We faced a major shortage due to delay in supply affected by the widespread increase in demand.”
