Pakistan is waging indirect war against India through terrorists: Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman

Mysuru, March 7:- “Pakistan is not waging a direct war against India. It is using terrorists to attack India,” said Union Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

She was speaking at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Shakti Kendra Pramukhs’ Meet held at J K Grounds in the city on Wednesday.

“The Indian youths are not joining terrorist outfits. All the nations face threat from terrorists. Some countries have more such fears. India faces two types of terrorists’ threats – external terrorists from Pakistan and home-grown terrorists in the country,” she said.

“Our people are also doubting the air strikes conducted in Pakistan’s Balakot to decimate terror camps and are demanding to know the number of casualties. India didn’t respond after 26/11 attack. We answered Pulwama attack within 10 days. All are supporting us. Earlier people were questioning foreign tours of the Prime Minister. Today India’s action against terrorists has given global support to fight terrorism,” she added.
