Mysuru Palace wall develops cracks

Mysuru, April 4:- The right portion of Jayarama arch of Mysuru Palace has developed cracks.

The cement plastering made on the wall of the arch near Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple and Kannada Sahitya Parishat is cracking. The roof of Sri Rama Temple is also on the verge of collapse.

The outer walls of the Palace have also developed cracks. Thousands of tourists from various countries visit the Palace every day. Concerned people have requested the Mysore Palace Board to take necessary action immediately.

The allegation is that the Palace is looked after and decorated only during the annual Dasara Festival. They vented their ire against the lackadaisical approach of the Palace Board. (MR/KS)
