Dr Parameshwar plotted Siddaramaiah’s defeat: BJP leader K S Eshwarappa

Mysuru, August 11:- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former deputy chief minister K S Eshwarappa on Saturday urged the Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy to investigate the issue of misuse of government money in the name of looking after the guests.

He was responding to huge amount of hotel bills during the swearing-in ceremony of  Kumaraswamy at a press meet held at Rajendra Kala Bhavana in the city.

“Kumaraswamy transplanting saplings at the farm is a gimmick. He is staging Kumaraswamy-model drama. Instead of all these, let him provide bagar hukum land to farmers. Siddaramaiah says I am a fool and I am unaware of the Constitution. Does he know the law of the land? I too can call Siddaramaiah by names without respect. But it is not the culture of my party. If Siddaramaiah speaks again cheaply, I will answer him in his style. Transfers take place non-stop in all the departments amidst code of conduct. Is it the way of the following Constitution? Siddaramaiah has not learnt a lesson even after losing the elections,” Eshwarappa said.

“It is Deputy Chief Minister Dr G Parameshwar who crafted the defeat of Siddaramaiah in Chamundeshwari Constituency in the state Assembly elections. He reciprocated Siddaramaiah for what he did to Dr Parameshwar in Koratagere in 2013 elections. Siddaramaiah lost the elections despite being a chief minister. The entire world has accepted Narendra Modi except for Pakistan and Siddaramaiah. Is Siddaramaiah a world leader? What are his contributions to backward communities?” he added.

Responding to H D Revanna’s statement about BJP MLAs joining Janata Dal (Secular), Eshwarappa said let him see where would he be after one year.

“BJP got a majority in Mysuru, Shivamogga and Tumakuru. We won’t have any coalition for local body elections. Kumaraswamy has given laughable statements on loan waiver. Let him change the manifesto for next election, saying he would waive off loans of farmers only if his party gets a majority,” he added.

MLA C T Ravi and several BJP leaders were present. (MR/KS).
