Mysuru, May 24:- The parents of students who have been studying in Pre-University colleges, have filed a complaint of cheating against several colleges in the city.
Parents of students have registered complaint against Chaithra PU College, Sharada Vidyamandir and Cresta College to the deputy director of PU Education Board (PUEB).
Speaking with reference to the complaint, Deputy Director of PU Board, Jayaprakash said “The violations of rules by several colleges have come to my notice. They haven’t received permission from PU Education Board for the fee structure of the colleges. There are allegations of spreading false information in newspapers and the involvement of the lecturers in private coaching centres. Cresta College has gone ahead with the admissions without getting approval from Pre- University board. We will take action against such colleges soon. I will personally visit these colleges to inspect. If rules of Pre-University Board are violated, we will take stringent action against such erring institutions,” he said.
