Parthasarathi asks for BJP ticket from KR Constituency in Mysuru

Mysuru, March 27:- “I am also an aspirant for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ticket from Krishna Raja Constituency for the Assembly elections to be held on May 12. I have written a letter to party national president Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” said former corporator M D Parthasarathi at a press meet held at Mysuru Press Club on Tuesday.

“I have been working for the party for the past 32 years. I have also been a corporator. Voters and party workers know about me. Instead of giving ticket to an outsider, ticket should be given to me. I am hopeful of voters electing me in the polls,” he added.

“I have no Godfather in politics. I have done social works through Pathi Foundation and Vishnu Sena. I know the problems of the poor and oppressed. I have honestly worked as a corporator and I am still residing in a rented house. If party gives ticket to someone else, I will call the meeting of party members and followers and then decide,” he added.

Yogesh, Nagesh, Deepak, Kumar Aradhya and others were present. (KMR, NGB)
