BJP workers should consider Lok Sabha polls seriously: Kote Shivanna

Mysuru, July 27:- “Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was lagging behind in the state Assembly elections and that is why it failed to come to power. Party leaders and workers have to make preparations to make the party win in Chamarajanagar Lok Sabha Constituency,” said BJP district president Kote Shivanna.

He was speaking after inaugurating the executive meeting of Varuna BJP unit at Babu Jagajivan Ram Community Centre at T Narasipur on Thursday.

“The party will face the election under the leadership of Narendra Modi. All the party members have to take the elections seriously. We have to make plans to face the elections of local bodies as well,” Shivanna added.

“We  need to win Chamarajanagar Lok Sabha Constituency. If we win a maximum number of seats in the Lok Sabha elections, it will help the party,” said BJP state vice president M Rajendra.

The deaths of M G Ramakrishnappa and T N Shivakumar were condoled.

Zilla Panchayat member Guruswamy, former president K N Puttabuddhi, BJP district vice president S C Ashok, Thotadappa Basavaraj, secretary Murthy, Karohatti Mahadevaiah, S D Mahendra and others were present. (MR/KS).
