Physically challenged woman climbs up Chamundi Hills as HDK becomes CM

Mysuru, May 29:- A physically challenged woman climbed the Chamundi Hills after H D Kumaraswamy became the Chief Minister of Karnataka.

Sangeetha, who hails from Kalaburgi, climbed up Chamundi Hills along with her friends and family members. When Kumaraswamy was the chief minister in 2006, he had provided her a job in physically challenged quota. She is now working in Namma Metro in Bengaluru. She had vowed that she would climb the Chamundi Hills barefoot if Kumaraswamy becomes Chief Minister again. Her husband Shiva Reddy and family members helped her climb the 1001 steps.

“Kumaraswamy is concerned about the poor and common people. No one can do Janata Darshan the way he does it. He attends Janata Darshan from 6 am to 10 am. It is his style of working,” Sangeetha said. (MR/KS).
