Mysuru, December 27:- “Thousands of devotees who visit Chamundi Hills also visit Uttanahalli Jwalamukhi Temple at the foot of the hills. But the devotees are not offered prasadam at the temple. The area doesn’t have a proper hotel. It would be better if the Muzarai department offers food in the afternoon for the devotees,” said social worker G P Harish on Wednesday.
“The decision to ban cell phones inside the Chamundeshwari Temple atop the hill is a welcome move. It would keep the temple premises silent. This should be implemented at all temples,” he added. (MR/GK)
