Plea to ban ‘Dragon Breath’ ice cream

Mysuru, December 23:- Samagra Karnataka Rakshana Vedike has demanded total ban on ‘Dragon Breath’ ice cream and alleged it contains huge amount of nitrogen.

“Dragons Breath ice cream is being treated as narcotic drugs in foreign countries. It adversely affects one’s health. It is suspicious how the officials could permit the sale of this ice cream in the city,” said Aravinda Sharma, president of the vedike, at a press meet on Friday.

“Liquid nitro chemical is known as mouth bomb. It enters the body of the consumers directly. It is sold at Minus 21° shop on Kalidasa Road in the city and at the Food Court at Mysuru Dasara Exhibition. Now, the sale of Dragon Breath ice cream has been suspended from the Dasara Exhibition Grounds and it should be stopped at the shop on Kalidasa Road as well,” he urged.
