Mysuru, January 5:- The members of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajarang Dal staged a protest at Ramaswamy Circle on Friday, urging the state government to ban Popular Front of India (PFI), saying it was backing terror activities.
“KFD organisation, backed by Simi, has been banned in Karnataka. Now they have come up with a new name, PFI. They have joined hands with Muslim terrorists to spread terror in the country. They are targeting and killing pro-Hindu activists. The organisation should be banned to safeguard the lives of Hindus. The state government should stop appeasing Muslim community and ban PFI,” the protesters said.
They handed over a request letter to the Deputy Commissioner to be sent to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
