Plea to ban SDPI and PFI

Mysuru, January 20:- Vishwa Hindu Parishat and Bajarang Dal of Mysuru district handed over a request letter to the Deputy Commissioner Abhiram G Sankar to be sent to the Home Minister, demanding a ban on Popular Front of India (PFI) and Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) organisations immediately.

They said that the two organisations planned to murder Member of Parliament Tejasvi Surya and convener of Yuva Brigade Chakravarthy Sulibele for standing in support of Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and National Register of Citizens (NRC). They said that the two organisations were against the Constitution of India and urged the Centre to ban them and tag them as terror outfits.

Lakshminarayan, Vishwas Bhat, Jayanth, My Ka Prem Kumar, Vikram Iyengar, Jayasimha and others were present. (MR/KS)
