Mysuru, April 6:- Jai Bhim Janaspandana Vedike has urged the Narasimha Raja Constituency Congress Committee to issue ticket to a Dalit candidate to contest in the Assembly polls as the constituency comprises Dalits, illiterates and backward communities.
“The people in the constituency have seen no growth, thanks to the family rule of four decades. Though the constituency is represented by Primary and Secondary Education Minister Tanveer Sait, the schools in the constituency lack basic amenities. This time the Congress should field a Dalit candidate,” said Chethan Kantharaj of the association at a press meet held at Mysuru Press Club on Friday.
