Plea to revoke PSI Lokesh’s suspension

Mysuru, May 7:- Leaders of Bettadapura and surrounding villages in Periyapattana taluk staged a protest urging to revoke PSI Lokesh’s suspension. They requested the higher officials of the department to reappoint him.

More than 50 people who had gathered near the police station said that the sub-inspector Lokesh was working honestly and requested the department to revoke his suspension order.

Former member of taluk panchayat Anitha, Vokkaligara Hitarakshana Vedike president B J Devaraj, K S Krishnegowda and others said that Lokesh has been working as the sub-inspector of Bettadapura Police Station for the past two years and has shown his honesty and work efficiency. They said that the rowdy-sheeter, the PSI was with doesn’t belong to Bettadapura Police Station limits and it doesn’t warrant his suspension.
