Mysuru, November 17:- “We have to spread the essence of Kannada by using the language more,” said the former member of Periyapattana Town Municipal Council, Ashok Kumar Gowda.
He was speaking after inaugurating Kannada Rajyotsava organised by Janashakti Auto Drivers’ Association on Friday.
“Kannada should not be limited to November. The language has its own history and tradition. Many have fought for the survival and development of Kannada,” he added.
President of the association Shantharaj, secretary Kiran Kumar, vice president Suresh, treasurer Sanjeev, and others were present. (MR/KS)
