Mysuru, January 4:- Navajeevana organisation staged a protest in front of Deputy Commissioner’s office here on Friday, urging the police to arrest well-known Kannada writer and rationalist Prof K S Bhagawan and take legal action against him.
The protesters condemned his derogatory remarks on Lord Rama, Sita and Anjaneya. They said that Prof Bhagawan has hurt the sentiments of Hindus and has violated the Constitution of India.
They opined that Prof Bhagawan should be punished according to the Indian law. They warned of indefinite hunger strike from January 7 if Prof Bhagawan is not arrested.
