Prime News, National, New Delhi, April 12:- Prime Minister Narendra Modi today interacted with over 100 MUDRA beneficiaries from across the country at his residence on completion of three years of Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana.
He said that the government is focusing on personal sector and wants to create the right atmosphere, where people can distinguish themselves through their hard work and enterprise.
The Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY) has been one of the flagship initiatives of the government to promote entrepreneurship spirit among the youth by providing easy loans without guarantees. The scheme was launched on 8th April, 2015 to promote and ensure access of financial facilities to non-corporate small business sector. The scheme has achieved unprecedented success having benefitted many from the backward and marginalised sections of society including women.
In order to mark 3 years of the completion of the scheme, PM Modi interacted with over 100 MUDRA beneficiaries from across the country at a function in New Delhi. On the ocassion the PM said, “I am delighted to meet you all today. In your success we see how the right Neeti and Niyat can transform the lives of so many citizens. Your success inspires people across India. It is gladdening to see a spirit of confidence in you all. This is exactly why we started the Mudra Yojana. We want every Indian to aspire and to lead a life of dignity. We have the public sector and the private sector. Our focus is on the personal sector. We want to create the right atmosphere, where people can distinguish themselves through their hard work and enterprise. I have one request to you all. Please focus on the education of your children.”
