Mysuru, June 2:- “Prime Minister Narendra Modi speaks of the abolition of Article 370, Pak-occupied Kashmir (PoK) whenever he has to address the nation. But he doesn’t speak a word about the financial problems people are facing at present. He is misleading the entire nation,” said the spokesperson of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) M Lakshman at a press meet held at Congress Bhavan on JLB Road in the city on Tuesday.
“The economics of the Modi government is of false promises on development. He had promised to generate two crore jobs every year. But 28% of the government jobs are already gone. The government has waived off the loans of 6.66 crore industrialists. They told that they would make rupee equal to the dollar. But today, a dollar is equivalent to Rs 76. Is this the development BJP speaks of? Only Bharatiya Janata Party leaders have developed under this government,” he said.
“Prime Minister calls himself as the servant of the people. But in reality, he has become a dictator. He had promised of doubling the income of farmers but has destroyed the agricultural economy. People are losing their jobs, is this the good day BJP had promised? BJP has completely weakened India. The state government has given false promises. Packages are nothing but bundles of lies,” he added.
