Prime News, International, National, Muscat, February 12:- Come invest in India’s growth story – that is the message that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken with him to Oman, where he addressed business leaders at the ‘India-Oman Business Meet,’ on Monday organised by Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Oman, in association with Embassy of India, Muscat.
This forum aims at uplifting Omani and Indian entrepreneurs to conduct successful businesses with the other. PM Modi also met with Omani CEOs and share possibilities of greater investment in India.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also met Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tariq Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs of Oman.
On the people to people and cultural ties front, PM Modi will visit the Sultan Qaboos Mosque. He also visited a Shiva Temple in Muscat. This ancient temple was constructed by the merchant community from Gujarat settled in Oman centuries ago. Originally constructed nearly 109 years ago, it was extensively renovated in 1999. The temple is all decked up for Mahashivrathri.
