Podar International School holds ‘Parivarthan drive – A walkathon to celebrate life’

Mysuru, February 29:- Podar International School (Hebbal Industrial Area, Mysuru) students and teachers held ‘Parivarthan drive – A walkathon to celebrate life’ to spread the importance of purpose of life among the people.

The event which was conducted today (Feb 29) in the city included a walkathon from Mathrumandali Circle, Vontikoppal to Habitat Mall in Jayalakshmipuram. Around 250 students from Class 6 to 9 participated in the parivarthan campaign.

The students performed yoga and presented a musical programme holding placards which represented the thought of living in the present, concept of togetherness and gratitude, celebrating happiness. The flash mob of a happy song not only surprised the people, but also spread the message of the beauty of togetherness.

School principal Krishna Bangera addressed the gathering and thanked all the people for their participation in the event. (GK, NAV)
