Police bust flesh trade in house; man arrested, four women rescued

On a confirmed tip off, the Central Crime Branch (CCB) Police of Mysuru City in association with Kuvempunagar Police raided a house in LIC Colony second stage on 13th cross street in Srirampura and arrested a man involved in flesh trade and also rescued four women.

The accused Rasal Mandal bin Basha Mandal, 28, a native of Afzalpur in Maharashtra has been arrested by the police. He brought girls from other states and introduced them into flesh trade. The police also recovered Rs 25,850 cash, two scooters and two mobiles. The four rescued girls hail from Mumbai and Kolkata.

Two other accomplices of Mandal, Rokib Haasan alias Rana and Salman Mandal are reportedly absconding. Kuvempunagar Police have registered a case and is investigating.

CCB ACP C Gopal who led the raid was assisted by CCB Inspector Chandrakala, Kuvempunagar Police inspector R Vijayakumar, CCB personnel Ravi, Asghar Khan, Hirannaiah, N Jeevan, B Radhesh, women staff Parvathamma, Manjula and Kuvempunagar police personnel.
