Police crack mobile theft case at Spandana Finance

Mysuru, September 4:-With the arrest of a man, the Mysuru Police have successfully cracked the theft case of 43 mobiles worth over Rs 6 lakh at Spandana Finance at Helavara Hundai village in T Narasipura Taluk recently.

After registering a case at T Narasipura Police Station, SP C B Ryshyanth had formed a team comprising Additional Commissioner Shivakumar, Superintendent of Police Prabhakar Rao Shinde, Circle Inspector Lava M R and PSI Manju H D.

After the investigation, the police zeroed in on a former employee of a finance company Harish Bin Krishne Gowda from Mudalakoppalu village in Hunsur Taluk. During the investigation, he confessed to stealing the 43 Vivo mobiles worth over Rs 6 lakh using duplicate keys.

The police have seized all the mobiles, a motorbike and the key which was used for the theft.

Siddaiah ASI, Shankarappa, head constables Pachhegowda, Ramesh, Prabhakar, police constables Mohan, Nizamuddin, drivers Mahadevu, Dayananda and Vasantha, Rekha and Sunitha from fingerprints and Forensic team were part of the team that investigated the case.

Rysyhanth has announced a reward for the team which has successfully cracked the theft case. (NAV, MR, KS)
