Police Flag Day held in Mysuru city

Mysuru, April 2:- The Mysuru City Police organised Police Flag Day at the Parade Ground here on Friday (April 2).

City Police, Mounted Police, Karnataka Police Academy, Mysuru District Police, KSRP Fifth Battalion, Police Training School, State Intelligence Bureau, DCRI Lokayukta, ACB Police, CESCom and ISDU had organised the programme.

Retired Inspector General of Police (IGP) Rajendra Prasad, who was the chief guest, received the guard of honour.

Karnataka Police Academy Director Vipul Kumar greeted Prasad with a police flag. To mark the occasion, some of the retired police officials were felicitated.

March past by the police was the highlight of the occasion.

Mysuru Commissioner of Police Dr Chandragupta, Mysuru Superintendent of Police (SP) C B Ryshyanth, DCPs Dr A N Prakash Gowda and Geetha Prasanna, and others were present. (MR/KS)
