Police kick up fight, three hurt

Mysuru, November 6:- Police are supposed to maintain law and order in the society. But what happens when they themselves start fighting with each other. There was a fight among the cops at police quarters at Hootagalli in the city on Sunday which left one injured.

Yashavanth and Prasanna, who are under suspension, kicked up a fight and also assaulted CR driver Ravishankar and injured him. The duo is accused of hiring goons to assault Ravishankar. Vijayanagar police inspector Anil Kumar has warned the trio.

The previous commissioner of police, Dayanand had suspended Yashwant and Prasanna last year as a disciplinary action. Even after the suspension, the duo is staying in the police quarters. Many police officials are staying in rooms and rented houses due to the unavailability of houses at quarters. People are wondering how these two cops who have been suspended are eligible stay in the quarters. (MR/KS).
