No one will be torturedwhile giving complaints, says SP
“The people who are hurt and become victims of violence, problems and social evils come to police station. They come with the hope of getting justice and all the police officials need to work in order to get them the justice,” said Superintendent of Police, Mysuru district, Ravi D Channannavar.
He was speaking after visiting the Bylakuppe police station on Friday.
“The police department will respond to the problems of the people without any delay. We will visit every village and make sure that no illegal activities take place there. We will not tolerate illegal supply of alcohol, drugs. The police will take appropriate action against them immediately,” he said.
“Police will also make sure that no one will be tortured in the police stations while they are giving complaints,” he added.
On his visit to Bylakuppe police station, he planted and watered a sapling. ASP Harish Pandey, Piriyapattana Circle Inspector Siddaiah, Bylakuppe PSI P Lokesh, PDO Shivayoga and others were present.
