Police officer who had booked case against CM’s son gets promotion

Mysuru, June 17:- Police officer G N Mohan Kumar, who was suspended for booking a case against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s son Rakesh Siddaramaiah on May 3, 2013, has been promoted as Deputy Superintendent of Police, Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB).

During the 2013 Assembly elections, Inspector Mohan Kumar attached to the Nazarbad Police Station had registered a complaint against Siddaramaiah’s son Rakesh. The complaint was filed by BJP candidate for Varuna constituency Ka Pu Siddalingaswamy. As soon as Siddaramaiah took oath as the Chief Minister, Mohan Kumar was transferred. Now he has been promoted.
