Mysuru, March 18:- Mysuru city police carried out a raid on the houses of rowdy-sheeters and held a parade of rowdy-sheeters at CAR Grounds in the city on Sunday. With Lok Sabha elections less than a month away, police want to ensure rowdies are kept at bay.
The raid was instructed by the Commissioner of Police K T Balakrishna and led by DCP Mutturaj in order to maintain law and order in the city ahead of Lok Sabha elections.
The operation was named ‘Operation Sunrise.’ The police raided about 50 houses. Mutturaj held a parade of rowdy-sheeters. The police instructed the rowdy-sheeters not to involve in any anti-social activities. The police also instructed them not to pressurise any voter. The police warned them to wear proper clothing.
