Mandya, June 12, 2017: The strike called by pro Kannada organizations to various demands received a weak response from public in sugar belt Mandya.
As usual all the shops were open and business was going smoothly without any hurdle. Public were seen having their routine things.
At the time of reporting the traffic at Bengaluru-Mysuru highway was passing smoothly, because no holiday were declared for schools and pupils proceeding towards schools could be seen.
But, some pro-Kannada organizations were planning bike rallies to protest at 8am meanwhile the police are geared up to tackle any untoward incidents.
