Porn racket case: Mumbai court rejects Gehana Vasisth’s anticipatory bail plea

Prime News, National (Mumbai), August 12:- A Mumbai sessions court has rejected the anticipatory bail plea of actor Gehana Vasisth in connection with the porn films racket case involving businessman Raj Kundra.

Gehana Vasisth’s lawyer, Sunil Kumar, said they will now approach the high court after detailed order is received by them.

Last week, the Mumbai sessions court had denied interim protection from arrest to Gehana Vasisth in connection with the porn films racket case.

Gehana Vasisth had approached a local court in Mumbai for pre-arrest bail after a third FIR was registered against her in the case on July 27.

The Mumbai Police’s crime branch’s property cell opposed her plea and informed the court that a new victim has come forward against Gehana Vasisth who needs to be examined.

The court had then refused to grant interim relief to Gehana Vasisth, saying that allegations against her are serious. (MR, Inputs: Agencies).
