Mysuru, January 25:- Prajnavantha Nagarika Vedike on Wednesday protested against Karnataka bandh called by various organisations today (January 25), by removing the posters pasted on walls in connection with the bandh.
“Mysuru is known be a clean city but several organisations have stuck posters on walls making the city ugly. Though the farmers have been protesting for years, the government has not responded. Several pro-political Kannada organisations have called for the bandh, which will adversely affect the lives of the people. Against whom the bandh is being observed? Is it against the state government or Goa government or against the central government? State government should not have given permission for the bandh,” said Ajay Shastry of Jaya Karnataka.
Kadakola Jagadish, Vikram Iyengar, Jogi Manju, Sandesh and others were present. (MR/KS).
