Mysuru, October 29:- Moving forward in its pursuit of becoming a prominent centre for research and Innovation, the National Institute of Engineering (NIE), Mysuru, is starting a ‘Makers Space’ at its campus. The initiative aims at providing a platform for students and faculties to turn their innovative ideas into products and further train and support them in establishing a start-up of their own.
As a pre-launch event of the Makers Space, an exhibition is being held for the fraternity of the NIE Group of Institutions to get an exposure to the kind of innovative projects already completed by the students of NIE, to meet the entrepreneurs who have set up incubation centres at NIE, and also to get in touch with the alumni of NIE who have already set up their own start-ups.
The exhibition would be held from 10 am to 3 pm on Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at the Diamond Jubilee Sports Complex, National Institute of Engineering (NIE), Manandavadi Road, Mysuru.
Achutha Bachalli K, founder, chairman and CEO, Unilog Content Solutions, Mysuru, will be the chief guest for the event. (MR).
