Print, electronic media have better scope now : Lokesh Kayarga

Mysuru, September 17:- Release of journals made by the students of the Journalism and Communication Department of SBRR Mahajana First Grade College, Jayalakshmipuram here was organised on Monday. Resident editor of Vijaya Karnataka newspaper Lokesh Kayarga inaugurated the programme.

“Mahajana College is among the prestigious colleges and I am happy that the college offers journalism course. The page layout, photographs and captions given by the students are attractive. Print and electronic media are offering better opportunities these days. Students should actively participate in such creative works,” he added.

The principal of the college Dr S Venkataramu, vice-principal BR Jayakumari, CEO Dr SR Ramesh and others were present. (MR/GK)
