Mysuru, July 18:- “Keep your step of confidence on the path of difficulties to be successful,” said IAS probationary officer of 2019, Nagarjuna B Gowda.
He was speaking at the free training for competitive exams organised by Jnana Bhuthi at Lakshmipuram government PU college on Wednesday.
“There is no human being who is without problems. We have to get to the summit by making our problems as our stepping stones. Though the rural children are capable, they lack confidence. They should come out of inferiority complex to face and succeed in competitive exams,” he said.
“Hard work and dedication are essential for success. Anyone can pass the IAS exam. I am also from a poor background. I became a doctor with a government seat and later took the IAS exam and passed,” he added.
“I am from a poor family from a rural area of Mandya. When I had been to Maddur taluk office for caste and income certificate, I also wanted to become a tahsildar by passing KAS. I worked hard for it and became tahsildar one day. If students face the competitive exams, they can certainly succeed,” said Assistant Commissioner of Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) BC Shivananda Murthy.
Prof Govindaraj and Prof KM Prasanna Kumar delivered a lecture on English language skills for competitive exams.
