Graduates’ Cooperative Bank polls: Prof Giri Gowda seeks support

Mysuru, January 25:- “I have worked as the founding principal of Vijaya First Grade College at Pandavapura and have contributed more than 30 books in Kannada grammar and folk writings. I have worked as the president of Kannada Sahitya Parishat for 15 years,” said Prof Giri Gowda, an aspirant for the director’s post in the Graduates’ Cooperative Bank, at a press meet held at Mysuru Press Club here on Thursday.

Prof Gowda, who is contesting for the director’s post in the Graduates’ Cooperative Bank, requested the voters to help him get elected as the president by voting for his symbol, ‘coconut tree’ in the election being held from 9 am to 4 pm on January 27 at Maharaja Junior College.
