Progress review meet: MLA Tanveer Sait warns of replacing inefficient officials

Sait seeks information on shortage of staff at KR Hospital in Mysuru

Mysuru, June 23:- “Officials should work to solve the problems of the public. If you can’t work properly, I will bring in better, efficient and able officials,” said MLA of Narasimharaja Constituency Tanveer Sait.

He was addressing a progress review meeting at PWD Guest House at Nazarbad in the city on Saturday.

“It is the responsibility of the officials to work for the betterment of the society. If you don’t work effectively, I will get better officials. I have faith in you. But I have heard several complaints from the public. I will get 10 machines from the donors. It is your responsibility to make effective use of it,” he said.

He instructed the officials of K R Hospital to give information regarding the shortage of staff.

“Poor people live in Narasimharaja Constituency. They need better healthcare. I will get the required land from Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) and officials have to make required preparations for the hospital. Transparent work has to be done to distribute lands at Gandhinagar, Kyathamaranahalli. Many have complained of water entering the ground floor when it rains. Houses lack basic amenities. Have you tried to solve these problems,” Sait questioned.

The officials of various departments were present at the meeting. (MR/KS).
