CPI activists stage protest against fuel price hike

Mysuru, June 20:- Communist Party of India (CPI) activists on Wednesday staged a protest against the central government, condemning the intermittent fuel price hike.

The CPI members alleged that the central government has taken no measure to reduce the price of essential commodities which is troubling commoners.

The protesters urged the government to drop dynamic pricing of petroleum products. “The tax should be reduced by half at least and should be taken back to 2014 taxation,” they demanded.

Secretary Raju, H B Ramakrishna, H R Sheshadri, Somaraje Urs, D Jagannath, M Shivanna, D Suresh, Tyagarajan and others were present. (MR/KS).
