Protest condemning Paresh Mestha’s murder

Mysuru, December 14:- Condemning the murder of Paresh Mestha recently, members of Hindu Jagarana Vedike staged a protest in front of DC office here in the city on Thursday morning.

They expressed their anger towards the state government and shouted slogans against it. They dubbed the district administration’s move on Paresh Mestha’s death as an attempt to close the case.

They alleged that the state government, which calls itself secular, has not offered any compensation to the family of Paresh. They demanded a compensation of Rs 25 lakh be paid to the family of Paresh.  At the same, they welcomed state government’s decision to hand over the murder case to CBI.

Jagadish Hebbar, Ananth, S Rajan, Dr Manjunath Singh, Girish, Srinivas Prasad, Manoj, Pradeep and others were present. (MR/KS).
