DSS activists stage protest; condemn insult to the Constitution

Mysuru, August 24:- Karnataka Rajya Dalita Sangharsha Samithi (KRDSS) activists staged a protest in front of Deputy Commissioner’s office here on Thursday, condemning the burning of a copy of the Indian Constitution at during a protest on August 9 near Jantar Mantar on Parliament Street in New Delhi.

They said that miscreants have insulted Dr B R Ambedkar by burning the copy of the Constitution. They demanded the arrest of those who are guilty. So far one person has been reportedly arrested by the police in this connection. The search is on to apprehend the other accused.

Suresh Yaraganahalli, Vatal Nagaraj, T Narasipur Puttaswamy Devarahalli, Mahesh Haradanahalli, Mariswamy Hosuru Nanjangud, Devaraja Hanagatti HD Kote, Krishna Kolagatta Hunsur and others were present. (MR/HN).
