Govt urged to provide funds to specially-abled children

Mysuru, January 9:- To help the specially-abled children to live a normal life, the government should provide the parents of such children with funds of Rs 5,000 every month, urged the members of Vikala Chethanara Abhyudaya Vedike. They staged a protest in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office on Tuesday.

The government should utilise the funds to provide the children with physiotherapy, speech therapy, and other training at one centre to help children, they said.

State vice-president of Jana Sangrama Parishat Prasanna, Manjula Umesh and others were present. (MR/HN).
