Mysuru, December 15:- Karnataka Senapade members staged a protest in front of Deputy Commissioner’s office here on Saturday, urging the state government to fulfill the demands of the employees including priests of Chamundeshwari Temple atop Chamundi Hill.
“Thousands of devotees visit the temples every day. The protest by the employees is causing inconvenience to thousands of devotees. The temple has an income of Rs 35-40 crore. The government can fulfill all the demands of the employees with the available funds,” said Tejesh Lokesh Gowda of senapade.
He urged the Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy to solve all the problems of the employees and to ensure smooth functioning of the pujas and offerings.
