Protest to put an end to drug menace in state

Mysuru, September 10:- Gandhada Gudi Foundation staged a protest on Thursday (September 10), urging the state government to root out the drug menace in Karnataka.

Talking to reporters during the protest near Gandhi Square in the city, they said, “Drug mafia is a black mark on Karnataka. Bengaluru’s Central Crime Branch (CCB) Police has arrested Sandalwood actors Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjjanaa Galrani in connection with drugs’ row. But the drug menace is not restricted to only a couple of people. Sons of politicians, bureaucrats and highly influential people are into it. The authorities should arrest anyone involved in the drug mafia. There is also a clandestine effort to protect some of the drug peddlers and users.”

GGF’s state president Aryan, honorary president Sudhindra Minchu, state vice president Manohar, secretary Hemanth B V, Bengaluru city president Bharath, Nithin, Sanju, Nandish, Sadath, Kumar and Dhananjay were present. (MR/KS)
