Protests against Darshan campaigning for Siddaramaiah

Mysuru, May 5:- Janata Dal (Secular) members of Nadanahalli village shouted slogans against Kannada actor Darshan Toogudeepa campaigning for Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at their village. They said they won’t allow Darshan to enter the village.  The situation threatened to assume alarming proportions as the villagers were not ready to allow Darshan to enter the village.

Congress members were hailing Siddaramaiah, while JD(S) members were praising their leader G T Devegowda. Congress members burst crackers in front JD(S) workers and challenged how Devegowda would enter the village. The Congress members said that JD(S) members were protesting as they are afraid of Siddaramaiah winning the election. (MR/KS).
