Mysuru, February 16:- “Oppressed women should be provided with house, land, ration card, Aadhaar card and benefits of Chethana scheme, Udyogini scheme, small loans, and other facilities to bring them to the mainstream of the society,” said the CEO of Zilla Panchayat K Jyothi.
She was speaking at the first meeting of District Advisory Cell formed to solve the problem of women held at ZP Hall here on Friday.
“There should be a better understanding between the departments for the effective implementation of government schemes. Single window advisory boards are required. Deputy Commissioner, district level officers have to work for this,” she added.
She instructed the officials to provide information regarding the needy women to the cell and organise a meeting every month.
Deputy director of Women and Child Welfare Department, Padma K, Rani, District Health Education officer Prakash, Stanley of Odanadi and others were present. (MR/KS)
