Mysuru, June 29:- Chairman of Karnataka State Pollution Control Board Dr K Sudhakar on Friday visited Mysuru for the first time after becoming the chairman of the board. He was welcomed at the Congress city office by former MLA MK Somashekar and other leaders.
“Mysuru is identified as a clean city. That’s why I am visiting Mysuru after becoming the chairman of SPCB. As I am a doctor as well, I can work as a whole for pollution control. Only public representatives and officials cannot stop pollution single-handedly. Each and every citizen should actively participate in this,” he added.
Former Chamaraja Constituency MLA Vasu, Congress city president Murthy, Mayor Pushpalatha Jagannath and others were present. (MR/KS)
