Prime News, National and International Sport, Cricket, Thiruvananthapuram, November 2:- Former India captain Rahul Dravid was formally inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame on Thursday.
To mark the occasion, Dravid received his commemorative cap from fellow ICC Cricket Hall of Fame Sunil Gavaskar before the start of the fifth and final ODI between India and the West Indies here, according to a statement.
Dravid was named in the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame along with Australia legend Ricky Ponting and England women’s stalwart Claire Taylor during the ICC Annual Conference in Dublin in July.
Dravid is the fifth India cricketer to be formally inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame after Bishen Singh Bedi, Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar and Anil Kumble. (Inputs: Agencies, NGB)
