Prime News, National (New Delhi), March 7:- Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Thursday hit out at Congress president Rahul Gandhi and accused him of spreading blatant lies on the country’s Rafale fighter jet deal with France.
The senior BJP leader also accused the Gandhi scion of deliberately playing into the hands of Rafale competitors and making irresponsible statements which were lowering the morale of the armed forces.
”I totally condemn the blatant lies of Rahul Gandhi. He doesn’t believe the Indian Air Force, he doesn’t believe the SC, the CAG. Does he want to believe Pakistan? He is inadvertently or deliberately playing into hands of Rafale competitors,” Ravi Shankar Prasad said.
Remarks from Prasad came shortly after Rahul Gandhi accused the government of manipulating institutions to “save” Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Rafale deal.
Rahul also called for investigating the media over the theft of Rafale documents. (MR, Inputs: Agencies).
