Mysuru, August 27:- Police on Sunday raided a shop photocopying currency notes at a shop at Tilaknagar in the city and arrested a woman.
The arrested has been identified as Gowramma, 40, a resident of J P Nagar.
In fact, she had purchased clothes from merchants near a library at Vidyaranyapuram and had given photocopied notes. She had even a verbal spat with the merchants. The police arrived at the spot and found photocopied notes of Rs 500 and Rs 200. The police later raided Jwalamukhi Enterprises at Tilaknagar and seized computers, printers and Xerox machines.
Key accused Khaleel managed to escape from the shop. Police are in search of him.
Khaleel and Gowramma were working together at a restaurant. He later explained to Gowramma about fake notes and they both quit jobs to make a fast buck. (MR/KS).
